|80s VIDEO GAMES
Here's a site where you can play OLD ARCADE GAMES from the 80's. Donkey Kong, Jr. , BurgerTime, &
Mario Brothers are 3 of my favorites. You just have to get used to using the arrow and Ctrl buttons, instead of a joystick. And let me tell you, I miss that damn joystick.
I love Ann Magnuson and she's a fun one to search for on the net.
The whole 80's NY performance art scene is so fun to look up as well. Check out this Ann gem, Girl Talk, from an early 80's cable access show, this Hamlet clip with Ann as Ophelia and this great Bongwater song featuring Bob Wier (a birthday-mate of mine).
|NEW ZOO REVUE
In the mid-70's, I used to love The New Zoo Revue, a children's program broadcast WAY too early in the morning. Even though it was one of my faves, I would NEVER have missed it if it was more like this outtake! I think they must have been sitting on the same magic mushrooms as Carole and Paula of The Magic Garden (another favorite.)
|JANE FONDA = NAUGHTY GIRL!
Jane Fonda relayed a story on The Tonight Show that I still hold as a truth. Here's the clip about the story where Zsa Zsa Gabor asks Johnny Carson if he wants to pet her pussy. In a similar, but more updated and exciting clip, here's Jane on a national morning talk show. Just when I forgave her for Hanoi Jane, then went on to hate her for Monster-In-Law, I have a new reason to love her.
|OLD COMMERCIALS pt. 1
This commercial for the RITZ THRIFT STORE was always on during daily afterschool re-runs of BATMAN.
|Check out this old McDonald's commercial. I heard that the ever-creepy Willard Scott was the first Ronald McDonald, and I think that this is him. YUCKK!!|
|Imagine how much better drinking SODA was when the whole world was SEXY! Now you don't have to...You can just watch this great Pepsi commercial from the 60's.|
|Here's some more:
A Great Breeders interview, and "Here No More"
Anne Sexton: Her Kind. She's kinda Siouxsie.
Siouxsie, kinda drunk!
An uncomfortable Grammy moment
He's So Unusual!
AMAZING Hero Worship!!
