The whole 80's NY performance art scene is so fun to look up as well. Check out this Ann gem, Girl Talk, from an early 80's cable access show, this Hamlet clip with Ann as Ophelia and this great Bongwater song featuring Bob Wier (a birthday-mate of mine).
In the mid-70's, I used to love The New Zoo Revue, a children's program broadcast WAY too early in the morning. Even though it was one of my faves, I would NEVER have missed it if it was more like this outtake! I think they must have been sitting on the same magic mushrooms as Carole and Paula of The Magic Garden (another favorite.)
Jane Fonda relayed a story on The Tonight Show that I still hold as a truth. Here's the clip about the story where Zsa Zsa Gabor asks Johnny Carson if he wants to pet her pussy. In a similar, but more updated and exciting clip, here's Jane on a national morning talk show. Just when I forgave her for Hanoi Jane, then went on to hate her for Monster-In-Law, I have a new reason to love her.
